Rangoli Chandel was born on 2nd December 1983 in Himachal Pradesh, India.
She is well known as sister of Kangana Ranaut and for her incedent of acid attack on 2006.

Rangoli Chandel Acid Attack Story
We all known that Rangoli as a sister of Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut, but this incident happen when Kangana was not became a Bollywood star.
Kangna just starting her career with bollywood those days and her family is still living in rental residence in Dehradun.
On 5th October 2006, Rangoli Chandel was attacked with acid by Avinash Sharma and Prem Singh.
Avinash Sharma was her lover and belongs to her hometown i.e.; from Himachal Pradesh and he is almost mad in love with Rangoli.
Prem Singh was a welder and friend of Avinash Sharma and helped him in this crime.
They threw acid on her face at her rental residence in Rispana Colony, Dehradun.
The main motive behind this attack was rejection of marriage proposal of Avinash Sharma by Rangoli Chandel.
She was taken to the hospital soon and after lots of medical tretment she underwent with 57 surgeries on her face.
After going through the best medical treatment in the country, she lost one of her ears and 90% of the vision from one of her eye and also has a dysfunctional breast but get the grafting done.
Now, she is in good position physically. She had to get the skin from her thighs and get that grafting done.
In one interview, she said that her sister Kangana supported her throughout her journey, she looked after her when her family members failed to do so.
In an interview, she also talks about her struggle for life because after this acid attacks her windpipe being several damaged.
As we knew that the physical pain was one thing which anyone can Handel but the mental trauma after this she faced was very immense.
Her parents would faint whenever they saw her. The man who chosen by her parents for marriage and she was engaged with him, but he left her after this attack happened.
Doctor stop her to look into mirror for three months, to handel mental trauma.
After the long wait of 11 years, In December 2017, Dehradun Police arrested the man accused of the case and his partner. They were sentenced five-year rigorous imprisonment by Chief Judicial Magistrate K.K Shukla.

- On 5th October 2006, two men from Chandigarh, threw acid on Rangoli Chandel at her face, in which she suffered from some serious burn injuries and get the grafting done, in which she passed through 57 surgeries on her face.
- In September 2017, after Kangana Ranaut’s bold interview on India TV’s show “Aap Ki Adalat”, she faced some trolls by lots of people on social media.
One of them was actor Aditya Pancholi’s wife, Zarin Wahab, who said that ” When I knew Kangana Ranaut was dating my husband how can I say she is like my daughter?”. In reply to this, Rangoli Chandel bombed lots of tweets as proof that her sister is not wrong against Zarin Wahab for her allegations against her sister.
- In April 2020, her Twitter account was suspended by Twitter for violating its policies, as she posts a community-divisive tweet on her twitter handle about the Moradabad stone-pelting incident, in which some health workers attacked by locals.
