Meezaan is the eldest son of Javed Jaffrey.
He is born in the popular actor family where his grandfather Jagdeep, is a veteran actor and comedian, his paternal uncle Naved Jaffrey is also actor, producer, director and choreographer and his father is very famous among them he is Javed Jaffrey an actor and comedian.
Meezaan starts his career as an assistant director for Sanjay Leela Bhansali film named “Bajirao Mastani”.

“I never intended to get into the industry or try filmmaking. I was actually inclined towards sports and music more than acting. My co-star Sharmin is my classmate and she was assisting for Mary Kom. After we were done with school. I was studying business, but then I joined film school because I thought business did not suit me and I wanted to try editing and direction and I became an assistant director”.
